Philadelphia ZIPs ranked by first recorded L&I food-and-drink license events at each parcel in the last 12 months. Later food-license events at an address count as turnover and are shown alongside, not ranked. Earlier food uses before the published L&I record began cannot be seen. A license is a registration, not proof a business opened, operates today, or occupies a given storefront, and the City does not split restaurant, bar, and cafe uses.

The Cedar Park and Kingsessing area follows at 14 first recorded locations, with the Queen Village and East Passyunk area at 14 first recorded locations. The top five span five different parts of Philadelphia. A license event is an early business signal. It does not prove that a restaurant opened or still operates.
